WhatsApp marketing · Grow revenue

Bring last month's guests back this month. Automatically.

Growth autopilot sends the right WhatsApp message to the right guest at the right time: a thank-you after the visit, an offer before their birthday, a nudge when they haven't been back. Set it up once in about three minutes, then read the report.

Journeys that run on their own

From the thank-you after the first visit to the last try for a guest you're about to lose. Switch each one on or off.

Repeat visits, not one-off footfall

A guest who already likes your food is the cheapest sale you'll ever make. The journeys are timed to how often your guests actually come.

Proof, not a feeling

A small holdout group gets no messages. The monthly report compares the two, so you see the extra revenue the messages made against what they cost.

Why it matters

Most guests don't stop coming because they disliked the food. They just forget.

You know your regulars by face, but not when they last came, when their birthday is, or that they haven't been in for two months. Nobody at the counter has time to message each guest, and a broadcast to everyone on festival day feels like spam.

Growth autopilot uses the phone numbers you already collect on bills. It works out who to message and when, sends from Digital Eatery's WhatsApp number, and keeps score.

“In seven years behind the counter I learnt that the regular who stops coming rarely complains. A message at the right time brings back more of them than any discount board outside.”

How it works

WhatsApp marketing, step by step

What you get

Everything in WhatsApp marketing

Every item on this list is live in the app today.

  • After-visit journeys

Thank-you with a feedback link, a club welcome, and a second-visit nudge timed to cafe or casual-dining habits.

  • Bring-back journeys

"We miss you" based on each guest's own visit gap, a win-back offer, and a last try before they're lost.

  • Birthdays and anniversaries

An offer sent seven days ahead, so there's time to plan the celebration at your place.

  • Loyalty journeys

Points-expiry reminders, visit milestones (5th, 10th, 25th visit and up), refer-a-friend and referral rewards.

  • Your offer, your timing

Change each journey's offer (% off, flat off or bonus points) and its delay. Send a test to your own phone first.

  • One-off campaigns

Write a short message, pick a segment (regulars, VIPs, lapsed guests…), add an offer and a send time. Each campaign shows sent, came back and revenue.

  • Festival autopilot

A campaign is drafted a few days before occasions like New Year, Valentine's or Christmas for you to review or cancel. Add your own dates, like Diwali, Holi or your anniversary.

  • English or Hinglish

Pick the language your guests read. Messages use Meta-approved templates, with your restaurant name and an opt-out line added.

  • Guardrails built in

Opt-in consent, at most one marketing message per guest every seven days, and sends only in a daytime window.

  • Nothing to connect

Messages go from Digital Eatery's shared WhatsApp number. Your own number is available as a paid add-on on request.

FAQ

WhatsApp marketing: questions owners ask

How is WhatsApp marketing priced?

You pay for the messages you send. There is no monthly fee for the marketing tools, so a quiet month costs you little.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

No. Messages go from Digital Eatery's shared WhatsApp number, so there is nothing to connect. If you want messages to come from your own number, that is a paid add-on we enable on request.

Can I write my own messages?

For one-off campaigns, yes (up to 300 characters). Automatic journeys use Meta-approved templates; you control the offer and the timing.

How do I know it's working?

A holdout group (10% by default) gets no messages. The monthly report compares their spending with everyone else's, so the extra revenue it shows is the revenue the messages actually caused.

Will guests get spammed?

No. Only guests who opted in receive messages, at most one marketing message every seven days, and only during the daytime.

Are Diwali and Holi included?

Festivals on fixed dates are built in. Festivals that move with the lunar calendar, like Diwali, Holi and Eid, you add as your own occasions each year.
