Account deletion
Delete your Digital Eatery account
Updated 25 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in the Digital Eatery app (Android, web and desktop) and the data that goes with it. The app is developed by Abhishek Singh, an individual based in India.
How to ask
- Email [email protected] from the email address on your Digital Eatery account.
- Use the subject “Delete my account”. In the message, give the name of your restaurant.
- We check that the account is yours. If we need more to confirm it, we reply and ask.
- We delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done.
If you no longer have access to that email address, write from another one and tell us the account's email, phone number and restaurant name. We will need to confirm ownership before deleting anything.
What gets deleted
- Your account: name, email address, phone number and password.
- The restaurant profile: name, address, map location, tax and GST details, and settings.
- The menu, prices and recipes.
- Bills, orders and reservations.
- Customer records, including loyalty points and feedback.
- Staff records, including attendance, advances and salary.
- Notification device tokens.
- Images you uploaded, such as menu photos and logos.
What may be kept, and for how long
Invoice and tax records that the law requires us to keep. We keep them only for the period the law requires, and then delete them.
Anonymised, aggregate statistics, such as total bill counts across all restaurants. These cannot be linked back to you, your restaurant or your customers.
Deleting only some data
You do not have to close your account to remove data. You can ask us to delete only some of it, for example your customer records, and keep using the app. Email [email protected] from the account's email address and say what you want removed.
On your device
The app saves bills and menu data on the device so billing works offline. Uninstalling the Android app removes that copy.
