Salary & payroll: questions owners ask
How is salary worked out?
From attendance. The salary sheet counts present, absent, half-day, leave and unmarked days, applies the monthly or daily rate, cuts pending advances and adds any bonus or other cut to give the net to pay.
Does it print salary slips?
Not yet. The salary screen shows each person's full working — days, rate, advance cut, bonus and net — which you can show them on pay day.
What happens to advances?
Each advance is recorded when given and appears as pending. It's cut from the next salary, and any balance carries over. Advances also go to Expenses automatically.
Can my billers see staff salaries?
No. Billers see only attendance and advances.
Can I undo a salary payment?
Yes. Undoing a payment also removes it from Expenses.
