Inventory · Control costs
Know what's in the store room without walking into it.
Every bill takes stock out through your recipes. Purchases go in by voice or by hand, wastage and counts are one tap each, and the app tells you what's running low and what your stock is worth.
No surprise shortages mid-service
Set a "low when below" level for each item. The stock screen shows what's running low and what's already out, so you buy before the rush, not during it.
Purchases that keep the books for you
Saving a purchase raises stock and adds the cost to Expenses in the same step. No second entry, no missing bills at month end.
Leakage you can actually see
Wastage is recorded with a reason, and a stock count shows exactly what is short or extra, and what that gap is worth in rupees.
Why it matters
If stock lives in a notebook, nobody knows the paneer ran out until a guest orders it.
In most restaurants the store room is counted by memory. The cook says "thoda hai", the supplier is called at 8 pm, and purchases get written on a slip that never reaches the accounts. At month end the food cost doesn't add up and nobody can say why.
Digital Eatery ties stock to what you actually sell. Each dish has a recipe, each bill takes those ingredients out, and every purchase, wastage and count is on record with a date.

FAQ
Inventory: questions owners ask
Does stock go down on its own when I sell?
Yes. Once a dish has a recipe, every bill takes those ingredients out of stock, including any base recipes inside it.
Can staff enter purchases by speaking?
Yes. Press the mic on the Bought screen and say what was bought, in Hindi, Hinglish, English or another Indian language. Every line is shown for checking before it is saved. Voice needs internet.
Do I need to enter purchases in Expenses again?
No. A saved purchase adds its cost to Expenses automatically. If you undo the purchase, the expense is removed too.
Does inventory work offline?
You can view stock offline. New purchases, wastage and counts need the internet to save.
Which units are supported?
Kilograms and grams, litres and millilitres, pieces and dozens.
